Big adventures for little movers.

Join us in Rio's parks for playful sports sessions where little ones run, jump and grow โ€” all in English or French. Our structured classes nurture development through movement, language and play, building gross motor skills and confidence one giggle at a time. Just R$80 per class.

Movement + words

Why parents love us

Movement that builds bodies and words.

Gross motor skills

Climbing, balancing, jumping, throwing and catching, the building blocks of strong, coordinated bodies.

Language by play

Action songs, story-led obstacle courses and call-and-response games โ€” entirely in English or in French. New words stick when little bodies are moving.

Confidence & friendships

Small groups, gentle coaching and lots of high-fives help shy kids find their spark.

Focus and Emotional Regulation

Structured classes create opportunities to practise listening, self-control, problem-solving and emotional regulation.

Two age groups

A class made just for them.

Tiny Tumblers
Ages 2 to 3

Tiny Tumblers

Outdoor sessions, perfect to learn the basics of gross motor skills and build confidence, specifically designed for the youngest movers. Parents stay for the whole class. We focus on first words for movement: jump, roll, stretch, go!

  • Up to 6 children
  • Parent stays the whole class
  • Skills: movement, balancing, hand/eye coordination, gross and fine motor
Mighty Movers
Ages 4 to 5

Mighty Movers

Mini obstacle courses, ball skills and storytelling games tailored to preschoolers, with parents cheering close by. Kids practise listening, taking turns, and naming what their bodies do.

  • Up to 6 children
  • Parent stays the whole class
  • Skills: movement, balancing, hand/eye coordination, gross and fine motor

For grown-ups

Stay close and watch them grow.

We encourage a parent or caregiver to stay for the whole class, especially during the first few sessions. Your presence gives the children the confidence to try, fall, get back up and try again โ€” and it lets you see, in real time, how they handle a structured group, how their confidence builds, and how quickly they develop week after week.

See them shine

Watch your child light up when they nail a new skill โ€” and feel the pride when they turn around to show you.

Parent time too

While the kids play, parents get to meet other families on the sidelines. Park mornings turn into little community moments.

Give it a few weeks

It always takes a bit of time to settle into a new activity, especially in a new language. Most children blossom after just a few sessions โ€” patience pays off.

What to bring

Comfortable shoes your child can run and jump in, and a water bottle. That's it โ€” all other materials are provided.

    About me

    Hi, I'm Mel ๐Ÿ‘‹

I am Fluent in English and French and hold a Master's degree in Child Studies from King's College London. I have made child development and children's rights my focus and through Little Movers, I aim to create playful, engaging, and supportive movement experiences that help children grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

Children learn best through play and movement. Through structured sports classes, Little Movers enables little one to develop strong motor skills, focus, and emotional regulation. Decades of research has demonstrated that exposure to a second language boosts cognitive flexibility and executive function. Little Movers' goal is to provide a safe and encouraging environment where every child feels supported to develop at their own pace.
